Tuck-in

GKTW offers kids a tuck-in by Mayor Clayton or Ms. Merry one time during their stay.  I learned about this during orientation and decided to surprise Janelle with it on Monday night.

Janelle was ready for bed and knew we were expecting a visitor but did not know who.  She went through names of people she knew.

Then there was a knock at the door.  Janelle answered it.

Janelle gave Ms. Merry a big hug,

said hi to her and

then ran down the hall to her bedroom.  Ms. Merry followed Janelle's lead by running in there too.

Ms. Merry checked to make sure nothing was hiding under the bed.

Janelle and Ms. Merry bounced and danced around the bedroom.

Ms. Merry was the first to sign Janelle's autograph book.

Janelle was so excited to have Ms. Merry in her bedroom.

Ms. Merry fluffed Janelle's pillow.

Janelle tried to help fluffing the pillow.

Janelle let Ms. Merry complete the pillow fluffing.

Ms. Merry got Janelle to get in bed and tucked her in tight.

Janelle received a kiss goodnight from Ms. Merry.

Ms. Merry gave me a hug goodnight.

Thank you Ms. Merry and GKTW.  This was a wonderful way to end our day.
