How you can help Make A Wish grant more wishes:

• Donation of frequent flyer miles -- three-fourths of the wishes involve travel beyond the borders of the state. Every mile donated helps wish kids and their families travel to destinations around the world. Once donated, travel miles will never expire and are used to support wishes.

• Volunteer opportunities -- Volunteers have a hands-on role in making the wishes come true. Volunteers are the ones who make the wishes come true from beginning to end. They spend time with the families determining what the child’s true heartfelt wish is and then they make it happen. 

• Volunteer leaders -- Dedicated individuals are currently needed on the foundation’s statewide board, regional advisory councils and junior boards to help govern the state’s chapter.

• Employer matching programs -- A wide range of employers work to match the donations of their employees. Interested companies should contact Make-A-Wish to get involved.
