Nothing is Perfect but...

Disney World
Cinderella's Royal Table breakfast - Needs better food for adults and more for kids.  Janelle left hungry.  Our meat was too tough to chew.

'Ohana dinner - My drink was refilled after asking twice and waiting quite a while after that.

Make A Wish pass - Most DW cast members were happy to send Janelle straight through the FastPass line for a ride.  Andy & Janelle went on Mt Everest at Animal Kingdom and were told they could do it once but would have to get in the regular line if they wanted to do it again.  That is not how the pass is supposed to be handled by cast members.

Magic Kingdom's fireworks - It was a huge mess getting to our car after.  Do not try to leave with everyone else there.  Pick a time when the park is open after them and get on the rides.  The second show on a night with two might be a much better choice.

Wheelchairs - If you are planning to take someone in a wheelchair to a busy park like Disney World: Please learn how to drive the wheelchair around many people before you go.  I was hit by one and I saw quite a few other crashes.  It hurts!  Please think of others.

Wish Lounge - It was very hot inside.  We were told the AC was on a timer and they could not turn it on.  We saw sweat on the pics of Prince Charming!  I know we were hot.  Cinderella and Prince Charming had to be dying in their outfits.

Entertainment- We missed Celebrate a Dream Come True parade and the Move it! Shake it! Celebrate it! Street Party because of timing.  Janelle chose not to leave what we were doing at the time.

Rides - Mad Tea Party was closed for refurbishment.  I wish Janelle had not missed out on that.  We ran out of time for two planned rides - Pirates of the Caribbean and Liberty Square Riverboat.

Animal Kingdom's Festival of the Lion King - The smoke smelled horrible.  Janelle held her nose.  I've been around smoke at shows in the past and never smelled it like this.  I hope they figure out a way to do it unscented!

Make A Wish
kidding:
They did not provide a laundry service for us when we returned home.

seriously:
I wish they included money for photo printing of the memories.

I wish they allowed more money for meals at the parks.  The amount of money listed on our cash allowance for meals and snacks was not realistic to park prices.

GKTW
The wish companies should warn people about the lizards at GKTW.  They are everywhere and all over the place. GKTW is not for a Wish Kid or anyone in the Wish Kid's family with a major fear.

I wish more Disney World cast members were educated about GKTW.  We were approached by a cast member about her GKTW button.  He said that he recognizes all of the buttons and did not have a clue what GKTW was.  We shared a little information.  He turned around and gave her a "First Visit" button.

I wish the TV in the villa had been Janelle friendly.  It did not include Disney Jr which is the only channel she watches.  I thought it would be considering where we were.

I wish GKTW would include the sound of the train crossing bell during their orientation.  It is heard all around GKTW.  We figured it out after hearing it a few times.

I wish GKTW would include who to ask for on their paperwork about a special meeting with a character.  Janelle met Hope which was very nice of them to setup for her.  We went to the castle as the paperwork said but the lady volunteering there had no idea about it.

I wish GKTW would do something about their delivery trucks blocking the driveway at the villa we stayed in.  We had the issue twice when trying to move our car.  I asked the first delivery guy to move but was told he would when he was ready.  I asked a worker who was walking by to ask the second delivery person to move so we could leave.  They did when they were ready to leave a few minutes later.  It was very aggravating.  We were not allowed to park on the street to bypass this problem.  GKTW has the Extreme Village Makeover TV show planned for January 2014.  I hope they will solve this problem during the makeover.  They could pour and extra parking pad in front of the villa that would be in a better location.  Or they could make it a rule for delivery people to move their trucks up further and not block driveways.

I wish GKTW would train their volunteers about how to treat Wish Families.  I asked a volunteer about the Christmas parade's details.  I included asking if the kids were included in the parade.  She said, "I can't believe you can ask that."   I started to explain that my daughter was the one who asked then it was our turn to go up to Santa.  Janelle has been to plenty of local parades where kids were included in almost every section on a float or walking.  She wondered if she could finally be in a parade.  I didn't think that was asking too much to find out if the kids were involved with the parade.  I do not recommend anyone else asking this question.  There is no reason to be so rude to Wish Families.  Please do not volunteer if you do not really want to be there.

Airline
The people with the airline were plain rude for our return trip. The ticket counter & TSA were nice. The lady that checked us in with TSA volunteers at GKTW once a month and asked how we liked it. The rudeness started with the guy in the waiting area & on the plane. It was extra stressful with their attitudes when we were delayed bc "something was leaking" and they needed to figure it out. We sat on the plane for that then the paperwork to let us finally take off bc of the issue. Then we sat on the runway for a while waiting for the green light.  The plane was rattling as we took off. Janelle said, "this plane is broken!"  I was relieved to walk on the ground again.

Weather
I wish it was not raining the day we arrived and our first full day in Orlando.  Janelle missed the Candyland activity at the Candyland playground.  She was able to enjoy the indoor modified version instead.  She also missed out on the princess breakfast at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall at Epcot scheduled for Monday morning.  We decided to not waste our Disney World tickets on a rainy day especially when the remainder of the week's forecast was pretty weather.

A prince
If you want to meet more than the usual princes at Disney World - We were told that all of the princes are out during the week of Valentines Day.

Thank you
A huge THANK YOU to the friends, Facebook comments and the travel agent who offered her time to help us plan the trip.
