We went to the Studio Backlot Tour after meeting the Green Army Man. Janelle walked up with her buttons and pass and was told that they did not have a special line at this attraction. A lady talking to the cast member noticed Janelle and took us through a Cast Member Only door. Then we went through another door that opened to the front of the line.
The tour began with a show demonstrating a sea battle in a movie. It was complete with splashing water and fire. Then we walked through a movie prop warehouse. I recognized a few things and remember the cab from the Muppets. This led us to the tram to ride around the backlot with a narrator.
The tram first went by a stunt car practicing.
We drove by Catastrophe Canyon. There was a fuel fire and a lot of water. All three of us got a little wet.
We got off of the tram and walked through the American Film Institute Showcase.
Janelle really liked the witch costume from the Wizard of Oz.
